Riverside Animal Hospital is a full-service general practice serving dogs, cats, and small exotic pets. We've been family-owned since 1994 and our team of four veterinarians focuses on transparent pricing, fear-free handling, and building long-term relationships with the families we care for. From wellness visits and vaccines to surgery, dental, and imaging — you'll always know what to expect before we begin.
Dr. Rivera has practiced small-animal medicine for over 25 years and opened Riverside in 1994. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, chronic disease management, and senior pet care. She believes every consult should end with a plan the family actually understands.

Brought our senior lab in for a dental. Dr. Patel walked us through the estimate, flagged two extractions as possible, and gave us the range up front. Final bill came in within the estimate and our dog was walking around like a puppy the next day. Don't think I've ever felt more respected by a vet.
Response from Dr. Marcus Patel
Thank you, Jordan! Give Biscuit a big scratch behind the ears from all of us. See you at his wellness check.

Patient with our anxious rescue
Our border collie used to shake at every vet visit. Dr. Kaur spent the first 10 minutes sitting on the floor tossing treats before even touching her. We left with a care plan and, for the first time, a dog that was wagging her tail on the way out.

Good care but a long wait
We came in as a walk-in for what turned out to be an ear infection. The vet tech was kind and the diagnosis was quick, but we waited almost two hours because they were slammed. The care itself was great and the price was fair.
Response from Dr. Alex Rivera
Dev, thanks for the honest feedback — you're right that Tuesday afternoons have been busier than we'd like. We've added a second tech to the walk-in line starting this month. We appreciate your patience.

Finally a vet that takes insurance seriously
We have Trupanion and Riverside processes it directly at checkout — we only paid our 10% portion and the rest went straight to the carrier. No receipts to chase, no 6-week reimbursement waits. This alone is worth switching clinics for.
iReviewers are verified pet parents with at least one receipt from this clinic on file. By default we show only species, age bucket, and a coarse timeframe. Name, pet name, and amount paid are opt-in per reviewer. Review policy
